Submission Prerequisites

Before submission, make sure you have

  1. Registered you email address (to receive access to the data & email updates).
  2. Chosen one of the two datasets: 11 or 111 time series (forecasting 111 will qualify you to be evaluated on both).
  3. Developed only a single, consistent  methodology to use on all time series - ideally in software code or rigorously though documented steps & tests conducted by a human expert (see FAQ & Help if this is unclear)
  4. Forecast all of the next 18 observations (1- to 18-step ahead trace forecasts) for each of the 11 or 111 time series (not just 1 or 2 selected time series!).
  5. Forecast all of the in-sample training data (only 1-step ahead forecasts)
  6. Record your forecasts in the original Microsoft Excel data files you downloaded.
  7. Renamed the Microsoft Excel file to include your name.
  8. Documented the methodology you have used in a brief summary of 1 to 6 pages IEEE format (use the Microsoft Word or LaTeX template of the IJCNN'07 conference found here IJCNN'07 author instructions for paper submission  ). If you have already submitted a full paper to the IJCNN'07 session of NN3 please resubmit this paper with your results!
